The Violence Prevention Center provides
services
to persons and their families
who have experienced domestic violence
or sexual assault.
To accomplish this goal, we provide the following:
24-Hour Crisis Line
Advocacy and Emotional Support
Short Term Safe Housing
Information and Referrals
Support and Educational Groups
Lending Library
In addition, we will:
Provide advocacy and intervention services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Provide information and referral to community resources, and accompany you to meetings at your request.
Act as a catalyst in creating a community atmosphere in which domestic and sexual violence is not tolerated.
Promote equal access to community resources necessary for each and every person.
Our Mission:
To serve individuals and families in Cook County affected by domestic and sexual violence and to act as a catalyst in building healthy relationships and developing a community where violence is not tolerated.
